Takes any boy that glances her way
Clutches tight in hopes he'll stay
Stays up on the phone with him
'Til the velvety sky grows a morning-time dim
She writes love letters and lengthy poetry
Holds him close and won't set him free
Suffocates him in her arms
His leaving will surely do her harm
She fears solitude, can not be alone
Just needs a boy to call her own
