Back in 8th grade we recieved a list of classic novels, and we had to choose one &read it. "Maus" was included. My classmates went all insane like "comics are not literature" and our teacher told us that we shouldn't choose "Maus" because it was a comic, not a "proper novel"... Well I read it later on and loved it, it was really touching. In my opinion people who think that "comics are for little kids" don't know anything about comics... "Monsieur Jean" is my favourite comic! And the topic of it is a slightly depresses middle-aged man. Yeah, clearly for kids :D
