So some of you guys might be wondering just how the stereotype for the French started.

Well, here it is.

In France when you go to a restraunt the tip is included in your bill.

But in America the tip isn't included in your bill as all of you Americans know.

The French don't know that when they go to American restruants.

Here's a little scene so you guys can get the picture.

French person: This American food was pretty good! (thinks to himself: But my countries food is much better!) Thank you very much! (Leaves restraunt)

American waiter: Hey! He didn't tip! I bet he thinks he's better than us!

Another American waiter: Those dang frogs!

Americans don't know that the tip is included in your bill at a French restraunt. So they end up paying more.

So that's why the French stereotype is a snooty person who thinks they're better than everyone and why the French love the Americans so much.
