I wish I could write as well as you do,

producing masterpieces everyday.

I wish I could write as well as you do,

I still have so much left to say.

I wish I could write as well as you do,

everything you write is flawless.

I wish I could write as well as you do,

but I can't I humbly confess.

I wish I could write as well as you do,

then maybe people would listen to me.

I wish I could write as well as you do,

but you're far better writers than I could ever be.

I wish I could write as well as you do,

I really don't mean to complain.

I wish I could write as well as you do,

maybe that would take away the pain.

I wish I could write as well as you do,

but I simply can not.

To be a great writer you must have imagination, creativity, and time,

sadly that's something I just haven't got.
