If only you knew
what I went through
just to see you.
I traveled all the world,
all the world just to see you.
I sailed the seven seas just so I could find you.
I knew I had to see you again
because you're my only friend.
I climbed the mountains high
to see if you were there.
I climbed the mountains high to show you how much I care.
I walked for days and days to be with you.
When ever I felt weak you got me through.
I battled insanity and the darkness.
Sometimes I thought I'd lose I must confess.
I'm hungry and I'm tired
but I've grown strong
for you.
Finally the sun's come out and the sky is blue.
Now you're here with me, and I am so happy.
You ask me" What took you so long?" with a smile and I say "Oh nothing," and think
if you only knew
what I went through
just to see you.
