For those of you who don't know, nikujaga is a very popular Japanese dish.
Since I am the nikujaga girl I figured it was about time I told you the story of how nikujaga came to be.
It was long ago in Japan, and they had begun to learn more about English culture.
They had heard of a very popular dish there which was beef and potatoes.
They tried to make this dish themselves, but given that this is Japan and the food there is MUCH different from the food in England and some of the ingredients that are used in the dish aren't normally found there they just used some of the things they had.
Thus resulting in the delicious dish that is known as nikujaga!
