I was floating on the endless sparkling sea for days, the waves gently lapping against me and the sky above an eternal night.
'Abby...' I heard a boys voice call, I strained my ears.
'Abby...please don't leave me.'
Adam, I jerked as I remembered him. Suddenly the ocean was no longer peaceful, the water became choppy and the waves were engulfing me. I struggled against the pull of the currents, when one pulled me deep under water, I tried to push to the surface, but only seemed to be dragging myself deeper into the oceans dark depths. As my final air bubbles floated towards the surface, I closed my eyes and let go.
I gasped awake and jolted upright from where I was sitting. Adam was sitting in the corner, jerked awake as he heard me gasping in lungfuls of air.
'Abby... Abby' he sprung up and ran towards me, and engulfed me in a huge hug.
'what happened... And where am I?' I asked.
Adam pulled back and looked at me, 'we were in the helicopter and you collapsed because you weren't breathing properly. We rushed you to hospital and you had an emergency operation, you had two broken ribs, a punctured lung and some serious internal bleeding from the baseball bat. The doctors decided it would be best to induce you into a coma to help your body rest and give you time to heal....you were meant to cone out of the coma a week ago... You've been in a coma for nearly three weeks...I thought I had lost you.' he mumbled quietly.
'well I'm back now, and I love you so much.' I confessed. 'I love you to Abby, I just hope one day I'll be able to show you how much I love you...' he trailed off quietly.
