Olympic Fever!

I've got a funny feeling,
It makes me warm inside.
When I switch on the telly my heart just fills with pride.

I still cannot believe it, how great it all has been.
I can honestly say that sports has never made me this keen!

I believe it's called Olympic Fever,
I've got it really bad!
It's all I ever think about; in fact the whole family's gone quite mad!

I sit down to write a poem,
But nothing comes to mind,
Apart from running, shot and gym, my brains become inclined.

Each day I sit on my sofa with a blankie curled,
And feel so proud that my home town's the capital of the world.

So sorry if my repetitions becoming quite annoying, but Olympic Fever's going round and the joy is overflowing.
