14 October 2012

The sunlight streamed through my hair as I made my way down the sandy beach. Flower petals guided my way in symmetrically lines, as I clasped my daddy's arm tightly. Violins played softly in the background, as I smiled to all the guests that had come to see my big day. Candles were dotted around me, matching the evening sunset. My dress trailed behind me, the soft white material swaying against the ground. My veil was thin enough for me to see my soulmate perfectly at the other end. The walk was long, but eventually I reached him, my father linking our hands lovingly. I kissed his cheek, not wanting him to leave my side, but I knew I would be in safe hands from that moment on. As my fiancé lifted my veil in a dream like trance, everything fell into place.

As the gold bands hugged both of our fingers, the ceremony was almost complete, but only one more thing had to be done, the thing that would unite us forever. When the words left my partners lips, my heart oozed with excitement and romance. "I do." He said. And that's all it took to make my world complete.
