Chapter 32:

My bedroom that had earlier been silent with the faint whispers of Jasmine and I was now thriving with busy women, all wanting a piece of the bride and makeup set. They included: Jasmine's mum who had got herself ready earlier so that she could help her daughter, my mum, who was extremely excited for the exciting day as well as the reveal of the dress I'd made for the bride and all the bridesmaids who wore matching blue floor length dresses. I had to stand out slightly as I was the maid if honour, and so had chosen a dark blue dress with a sweetheart neckline that hugged my figure and across the chest and arms was white lace making it look expensive as well as allowing me to feel secure in it.

I finished putting the dress on jasmine, admiring her and the dress itself. I was in love with it, my favourite design yet. I had created it in such a way that she and the baby would always be comfortable, whilst looking lovely at the same time. The strapless dress hugged her growing bust, the top half topped with a thin lace, and then from the waist down it puffed out slightly, creating a ballerina shape. Her tummy stuck out through all the material, but still looked perfect. She wore a short veil that increased in length the further down it went, her face becoming so much more innocent. On top of this, I managed to do her hair and makeup, and as she walked into the living room, the area filled with a united gasp. She looked perfect. There was nothing out of place and her baby bump added to the excitement of her wedding day.

As she walked down the isle, I followed obediently, seeing my family in the crowd, as well as Matt, my soon to be husband, who gave me a cheeky wink.

The service flew by and soon the ground was covered in pink confetti that the children happily released up into the blue sky.

The party began from there, and there wasn't a single person without a drink in their hand, having a laugh on the dance floor. Sam made a touching speech about how excited he was to start a new family in Britain, staring at Jasmine lovingly, which left all of the guests in tears.

We partied till the morning, with Abba songs galore as well as a few of our childhood favourites. Both Jasmine and I sat down in a heap on two of the chairs, giggling excitedly. "That was an amazing wedding!" I said happily. "It's not over yet! But she's been moving around all day, maybe that's a sign that I need to take it easy." Replied jasmine, rubbing her tummy sympathetically. "I love my dress. It's so perfect, Sophia." I smiled shyly, overjoyed that she like it. "Come on," I said excitedly, "lets dance." I took her arm pulling her up, but felt her weight sit back down again, her face lifeless and cold. "Something's not right, Soph. Get dad, quickly!" She said with a cry. Her father was a doctor, but I felt I couldn't leave her side in case something terrible were to happen. No one was around us as we had gone into the dining area, secluded from all the guests.

At first, it wasn't clear why she was panicking, but it was then that I saw the heaps of water gushing from her dress. I knew straight away that her child was coming; we needed to get to the hospital, and fast.
