People tend to the melodramatic view that thinking with your brain is bad, and all decisions should come from the "heart" (although it is actually a number of emotional glands that deal with feelings).
This is an idea cultivated by soppy films and books with no brains behind them. Using your brain to make decisions is not wrong. It was specifically designed to think, by God/thousands of years of evolution, to be the finest thinking machine in the animal kingdom.
Using a series of glands to think is stupid. Use your brain to think, and your "heart" to feel.
I am not sure of this is actually my opinion :P
