It's was dark and quiet As it always seems to be When the restless spirits Decided to be seen
It was in a room so hollow In a house made too grand When those two little children Defied all of deaths plans
It was with the hairs On the back of his neck standing up That the curious afraid man Decided to brave just one look
The noises he heard Were cries of obvious pain If he didn't go inspect He might have been drove insane
But he did take a look Through unwilling blue eyes And when he saw what he saw Shock and fear paralysed
Two little children In transparent white With blood from their heads Stained right down to their thighs
They looked straight through him And pleaded "daddy not again" The next thing that he witnessed Will forever be etched in his brain
The first girl tried to run But stumbled and fell The other girl came running over Just a sister trying to help
Then they both starting screaming Cowering in such dread The first girl then fell quiet Taking an invisible blow to the head
Her sisters screaming got louder But it didn't last long She rose up in midair Gasping her last breath...she was gone
The man stood there still Unable to move The girls disappeared He was alone in the room
The man gained control Focus and composure He fled from the house But he would attempt to get closure
He drove straight to his friends And requested a laptop to use Searched for stories about the house Looking for reasons or clues
Then he came across one About those two little girls They had been missing for ten years Body's never unfurled
He started shaking with rage And an hunger for justice He found the name of the father And sent an anonymous tip to the police
It took a couple of weeks And many calls into the station Until they took him serious enough To reopen the investigation
They questioned the father And described to him the scene The blood rushed from his face As if a ghost had been seen
He broke down and confessed And the girls were then found And their heartbroken mother Buried them together in the ground
Their spirits laid to rest The house was then free And it was all down to one man And his curiosity
