No Time To Be Timid

I've never been a confrontational person
Never thrown a punch, arguments were averted
I've never felt hate for another living soul
Never wished pain on anyone at all

I've never raised my voice in anger or rage
Always been the one who decides to walk away
But where as this got me? nowhere at all
I've been chewed up and spat out and left on the floor

So forgive me if i might seem a little harsh
Because from now on I've decided I will be taking charge
No more "I'm sorry" when they walk into me
And when people do me wrong I'm gonna need the apology
