You were strumming along Almost effortlessly Playing my songs And humming sweet melodies
You were plucking my strings With the softest of touch Playing all the right chords We had no need to rush
You wrote such luscious lyrics And sang them softly in my ear And in those world changing moments With that first release...escaped all my fear
