There's lots of poems, stories about love
But none of them quite get it
They say you're an angel from above or
"How we met? How could I forget it?"
"You're the person I could not live without"
Well actually you probably could
"You're my soul mate without a doubt!"
Maybe until the next person they would
Be that someone who your 'world spins round for' who 'lights up' your life
Or maybe that one you think about even when you are left behind.

But from my experience of love, it's an extraordinary thing
Sometimes it'll feel like a welcome feeling
But pain and sadness it can bring
Every lover is the one until another comes along
And with each one you learn something new, gaining another lesson or two
I've never been so hurt or depressed since I've been in this desirable state
Sometimes you think it's not worth the effort and things are put at stake
I don't know what the end is like because I've never felt it
But when it comes I'm sure I'll find that these feelings have all been worth it.

Being in love is experience for life and for what else it will entail
But right now when you're in his arms youll think this is all just a tale.
