Reckless Chp. 4

Rain's p.o.v
Everyone was getting along so well. Joslyn and Tony were discussing Star Wars. Emma and Mike with their Harry Potter and Hayden, Seth, Vic, and Jaime talking about music in general. I see Joslyn getting with Tony and Emma with Mike. Seth is already taken by Aynsley, our merch girl. Vic, I think he's single, but I could see Alissa, one of our most important crew members & a best friend to us all, getting with him. Anyway, I said hi to everyone and just chilled out. I felt to awkward around everyone so I just went outside through the back. I lit another ciggarette. Life just hasn't been easy, but I still enjoy it. I got a text.

•Haha, alright. I might not be able to, so I'll text you tomorrow. •

I was actually reliefed. I didnt want to see him tonight. I've known Payton since middle school. He's one of my close guy friends, that I actually, well, really liked. He screwed me over a couple times ; so I just had to let go of my feelings for him, but everytime I see him, I think of all the great times we had. I went back inside and I saw Jaime in the upstairs lounge. "Hey, why are you alone, senor?" "Well, I was looking for you, senorita." He winked. He's so cute. "Sorry! I've been outside." I went to go sit by him. "Isn't it funny how I spilt something on you and now were going on tour?" "Yes, very. And I'm sorry if Im boring, I'm just shy around new people that I don't really know." "Aww, it's fine. I think we will be great friends on this tour and after this because I already think you're pretty amazing." I was blushing so hard. "Well thanks, you're pretty damn amazing to." "Is it to soon to flirt?" He asked. "Have you seen everyone else?!" We both laughed and then Joslyn came in. "Sorry to bother you two, Jaime I think they wanted to play beer pong with you & Rain I need to talk to you." We looked at eachother and nodded our heads yes. He went out first so I could talk to Joslyn. "Rain, Payton is here." My heart stopped. This can't be happening. "Did you know about this?" "No. I told him I was chilling here but he said he couldn't make it. I was actually glad he said no, but I guess he was just joking." She knew I was upset. "Well, I think I need a drink. " She agreed and followed me out to the lounge.

I didn't see him. That was good. I ordered a water and headed upstairs. I went out on to the balcony and felt a pair of arms sneak up around my waist from behind. "Hey beautiful." It was him, son of a bitch. "Shit!You scared me. I thought you werent coming?" "Surprise!" I loved his smile. We talked for a bit. He always tried to make a move but I always brushed it away, but he'll never give up. I saw him get a text. "Hey a friend wanted me to meet up, so I'll be back in a bit." "Altlright, ahah." He walked inside and dissapeared.

It's been 15 minutes. I went inside and walked up to Joslyn. "Have you seen him?" "Uh." She kept looking over to a corner. I started to walk but she tried to stop me. She told me he went over there but she never saw him leave? She isn't for sure because she was already a bit hammered. I pulled her hand off my arm and walked over and turned a corner. She was pushed up against a wall. His tongue down her throat. He saw me in the corner of his eye, but I was already down the hallway with tears flying down my cheeks. Jaime saw me and started to run over but Joslyn stpped him. She saw me but I didn't stop. I ran out to the back. Payton caught up with me. "Rain. It wasn't what it looked like." "THAT'S BULLSHIT." I began to yell. "I can give you the same thing if you want." I took my hand and slapped him but he stopped me. I broke down crying. He gave me a hug but I was trying to get away. He wouldn't let go and I couldn't stop crying. I was reckless. That's all I ever am. "I won't let go till you stop crying." He was putting his actual good side out right now, what a asshole. "What if I cry forever?" I ask. "Then I will be with you for-" I heard her voice. "Payton! What are you doing?" he dropped me and walked over to her. Raja. "I want to go back to what we were doing,babe. Why are you with her. What does he mean to you?"Her voice annoyed me so much and then he finally said something "Nothing. Nothing at all." My heart broke. It fell apart. I felt weak. I couldn't move or speak. I just felt a tear running down my cheek. They went inside and Raja was laughing. I saw someone rush to my side. I couldn't tell because I fell, and my eyes closed. I could hear Joslyn yelling and then a slap. I really didn't want her to get into a fight but the bitch deserved it. Then I couldn't hear a thing. Just nothing. It was echoing. Nothing. Nothing at all.
