I'll always look for the best in you

Like a reed in the North wind

I'm stronger than my slim stem

Bark and snap like an untrained dog
Still I radiate towards you with love
Beneath thick fur lies your heart
You don't mean to tear me apart

Greedily you take from me
Forgetting to share like we're family
It's as if you're blind of what you do
So self involved its all about you

Still I look for the best in you
Simply because that's what I do
