It's a funny little thing, when you fall in love...
No fairy-tale business, no struck-from-above,
Revoltingly nervous, yet you love the rush,
Just seeing him smiling, you're down in a flush.
Through smiles and trough chuckles, a hand-hold or two,
You're wondering why this could happen to you.
Yet you look at him, you smile for no reason,
You're blushing a fever, perhaps it's the season.
And slowly, time passes, you're loving his smile,
All undone homework stacked up in a pile,
He takes all your time, he's all you can see.
I said I'd never let these things happen to me...
An yet there he is, with his tie as he frets,
His hand bit from holding those flower bouquetes,
You can't help but think, and it's just not enough,
It's a funny little thing, when you fall in love...
