"If I take one more step this will be the farthest away from home I'll have ever been". Had this quote stuck in my head all day and it feels pretty relevant because I'm a long way from home and all things familiar right now. Not comparing myself to the heroic awesomeness of Sam in The Lord of the Rings but I do feel like it's a long way back and I'm a very small person. My personal Shire may take a few walking, bus, train and flight journeys but is nothing next to barefooting it across Middle Earth! Right now I'm just missing home I guess, but at least travelling gives me a chance to experience something new, which I always try to have an open mind about. However currently I'd love to even hear one familiar accent or even the same language! I bet Frodo & Sam would've also loved a few friendly Hobbit folk popping up more frequently on the way to Mordor :) Anyway that concludes my muse/excuse to blog about LOTR. Thank's if you took the time to read my ramblings & I hope a few more of you can relate to that feeling of missing home...
