I have lived a many years, suffered through many tears.
Death was never my end, rebirth granted time and time again.
I have seen the fall of empires, the birth of new countries, death has lost it's sting, born again, my soul continues to sing.
Many a love I have known, such beauty each one hath shown.
Every woman I've loved shared a piece of me, to watch each die in my arms, caused my very being to grieve.
So many wish it, immortality of the flesh, it has not been my friend, only pain and sorrow it doth send.
