To tame or not to tame,
That is the question,
My efforts are completely lame,
I'm open to suggestion,
Not been in the door 5 bloody minutes,
I have a tantrum on my hands,
His screams enough to make me grimace,
And can be heard in distant lands,
I think it's cause he's tired,
But he ain't giving in easy,
If I performed like that at work my ass would be fired,
Dear boy this does not please me,
A constant whine and whimper,
Stomping feet on the floor,
The noise a definite hinder,
Oh he's gone quiet no wait there's more,
Socks thrown across the room,
He's wiggling around,
I hope he packs this in soon,
He's making such an awful sound,
Apparently he doesn't like the word no,
In fact he seemly hates it,
No is no when mummy says so,
Doesn't mean he agrees one bit,
Ill let him scream and shout,
And throw himself around,
In time he will wear himself out,
And then will fall asleep on the ground,
Ill put him to bed and tuck him in,
He'll resume his angelic face,
Ill watch over him with a grin,
And wonder what the fuss was about in the first place.
