Got a bag of balloons
That's drawn on them many blue moons
They were all black
Nicely placed in one pack
Got another bag of balloons
That had smiley cartoons
And I also got a small helium tank
Then took everything and went to the river bank
Started with the black ones first
One by one I whispered inside my greatest pains and aches
Filled them up with tears and helium and closed them quick before they burst
Then I let them go and waved goodbye with a little shake
Then I skipped towards my other bag of balloons
With bright colors and smiley faces
Singing many happy tunes
As my heart races
Held them tight in my hand
And one by one I whispered my wishes and dreams
Filled them up with smiles and helium and closed them quick as planned
Then I pushed them up towards the shinning moonbeams
Then I just lay there looking up and breathing slow
Couldn't see the black ones anymore
I don't know where did they go
But I know they won't haunt me back like before
But look with me at the dark sky
The bright ones are flying high
Going in different directions
Showing new paths to me cause my old path was met with my rejection
