The show is over
I played my role
I am now sober
Not gonna be kicked like a ball

Behind the scenes crap
That's been going on for a while
It started out fab
And now there seems to be a gap

I played my role silently
Followed the rules blindly
But for a reason I can feel some are drifting away
And I really have so little to say

Sorry if I have done you wrong
I wish you'd talked to me first
But you have been silent for so long
The high image I held of you is about to burst

"Internal politics" so I have heard
But what did I do cause that seems absurd
No one is answering and all heads are low
Obviously I stepped on the wrong person's toe

Don't like games
Don't like lies
Wasn't really looking for fame
But be civil enough to answer my whys

Behind the scenes crap
I give you my back and you stab
I will leave you to continue your acts
For I don't do games and that's a fact
