It's awkward, the idle banter that we share.
There's more going unsaid than not.
I'm struggling because I want to forgive you but the wound you left is still raw.
A stray thought in your direction and I relive that moment you abandoned me, the moment you abandoned us!
I second guess every word that leaves your mouth, wondering if your thoughts betray me once more.
They say that the hardest word to say is sorry and I guess it must be true because it's the only word I can't hear coming from you.
