hey there.
so..where do I begin?
I'm 13. just your average teenage girl. nothing special about me.
I'm a dancer. I've been dancing since I was 3. Dance is my life. I can't imagine who I'd be without dance. It means the world to me.
I have Osgood-Schlatter Disease. It sounds like some freaky disorder...but it isn't that at all. It's a condition in my knees. Your thigh muscle connects your upper leg to your lower leg...while you're growing and whatnot and you're using that muscle a lot, it irritates a tendon in your tibia (lower leg; this tendon is right below your knee) and causes it to pop off a little. Because of this, you get a large bump right below your kneecap. It's rather painful and takes a few years to resolve.. that is, if it ever resolves. In some cases, people with this have reoccurrences of the issues in adulthood. Some peoples' bumps never go away. It all depends on the person. It's rather common in adolescents that play sports or that dance. I often have to wear a knee brace after I've had long hours of dance practices to school in order to help with the pain. When I dance/participate in gym, I wear a jumper's knee band to help ease the pain from the tendon.
I am freakishly OCD. everything has to be JUST RIGHT. otherwise I freak.
my favorite color is actually sparkles. I love sparkles.
I'm a girly girl. the girly girl with a rebel streak.
when you first meet me, I come off as a goody-two-shoes... ask my friends though. I'm not one AT ALL.
shopping is like my superpower. I can shop all day and all night. I love to shop.
fashion... oh gosh don't even get me started!! I am a huge fashionista. this is where a lot of OCD kicks in. If I'm trying to make my top match my shoes and they are the SLIGHTEST shade off, I won't wear that outfit. everything that is supposed to match must match. period.
I have naturally brunette hair that's colored blonde and blue/greenish eyes. my eyes are weird. a lot of people say that they are blue, which they are... but I have a lot of people call them green too. I don't know what to believe, so I just say blue/greenish.
I have glasses. if I don't wear them honestly I'm practically blind. you can put words right up in front of my face but if I'm not wearing glasses, I can't read them. and I certainly can't read things far away either. I have awful eyesight. enough said.
writing has always came naturally to me. I don't have to think about it, I just write. the words just flow out of me like a river after a rainstorm. no thought. it just happens.
so yeah, that's me.
