her mind was see-through,
her thoughts stood sheer.
you saw right past them,
you never bothered to hear.

her eyes spoke silently,
her mouth remained shut.
her real life remained unknown,
without an if, and, or but.

his mouth didn't speak of the such,
oh, what a secret it was.
he didn't dare tell a soul,
but staying quiet.. he'd almost had enough.

though hiding was difficult,
his friends could never tell.
they had no clue of his secret,
and he kept it very well.

one not clear to the average eye.
it was a secret rendezvous;
