At the same time every night as the old clock chimes midnight,
the beautiful woman walks the hallways
looking for others she can tell of her plight.
Her soul trapped between two worlds, through the years her rage unfurls.
Married so young, to one so harsh and cold, her innocence stripped
She became his plaything, her freedom taken
Like a bird of paradise whose wings have been clipped
No longer full of life or dreams, one beating to much and her life was taken.
She looks for a lover to devour, and satisfy her need.
Found, he falls for her charms not knowing the cost
Her passion overpowers as she takes him with a greed,
satisfied she smiles and leaves her mark upon his exhausted body.
Then from the depths of darkness, the shadows come to life
tearing out his tongue to silence his screams
Flesh ripped from his body easily as if it were sliced
and finally the thing she wants most his soul, hers to keep tortured for all eternity.
