I have an important job to do
All day long and all night too
I sprinkle magic all around
The Christmas tree is where I'm found
Children playing hide and seek
Adults retreating, feeling weak
I catch their thoughts as they go past
And shower down a twinkling blast
Now it's mid-night, between the breaths of the world
All is possible, all unfurled

I am very tiny, very small. But sit upon dark branches tall. Around me silver tinsel sparkles. Magnifying, glorifying all that is me. For I am a tiny fairy light. A golden glowing orb so bright.
My face lights up with happiness. Excitement fills the air. Red and green everywhere. Rosey cheeks and warm smiles. Yuletide treasures. Cheerful songs. Hopefulness fills our hearts. Real joy.
