Following on from mine @sjw and @misslittleDHP story ;-)
Chapter 4 - Red Star
"What are you two idiots doing here!" Derek's father said angrily.
He was a menacing looking man, his nose was crooked and he is a stockpile built man. Mickey thought he and everybody else in the room looked really weird in the clothes they were wearing. They all looked similar but also very slightly different in colour, almost uniform like.
"We found them lurking in the cave sir." Mr Jessop quickly replied.
Derek's father turned to Mickey, "What were you doing out in the cave, you both know it's forbidden?"
The cave has been "out of bounds" to the local towns folk since Billie Stanley was found dead last year. Billie was Mrs Stanley, the post office lady's granddaughter who was only 12yrs old.
"We....Er.....Just was....Er....A little lost sir." Mickey nervously said, glancing over at Derek.
Derek's father told Mrs Stanley to take Mickey outside and told her, "you know what to do" with a wink and a menacing grin.
"Derek do you know why we are all here tonight?" Derek's father asked sternly. "No sir, I don't! Why is everybody in uniform and what was that humming sound that was hurting my ears?" Derek eagerly asked.
"SILENCE BOY! How dare you ask ME questions." Derek's father shouted with a crazed look on his face.
All the men in the room moved away quickly. Derek looking downwards noticed a big weird star shape which looked like it had been painted red on the floor, this puzzled Derek as there was a perfect circle in the middle of the star. "How very strange" Derek thought to himself.
Suddenly there was complete silence in the room. Mr Jessop grabbed Derek by the arm and took him over to the left side of the room. He placed a single finger to his lips and eyeing Derek he whispered "shhhh."
Derek was totally confused and a little scared as everything was very strange and all these people from the town who he thought he knew really well were acting very strange and wearing what he thought was silly aprons and uniforms.
Then the light in the room went out. Pitch black. Derek jumped as a tiny light came on to his left, then his right, then in front of him. Some of the men in the room were lighting candles, the light flickering against their faces. This spooked Derek and he was getting very frightened.
A door creaked and slowly opened, Derek could just about make out 2 shadows coming in, one was a roundish outline of a person and the other was much smaller in frame. "Mickey" Derek thought to himself.
The figures came closer and Derek could see that it was indeed Mickey but for some reason (which confused Derek even more) was that Mickey was naked apart from his underwear and his hands were tied. "fuckin hell" Derek whispered to himself.
That strange, now familiar yet, still annoying humming noise began again. Derek nearly jumped out of his skin when in unison all the men in the room began to "chant" in a soft low but deep tone..........Humm......Zeee.....Oooore.....Leeeee.........!
