What are we destined to become? It's our turn now but look what we've done. We've polluted the Earth and have nowhere left to run. We raced ahead to rely on technology that seemed like fun. Do we forgive lost civilisations for sacrificing ceremonies lost and won?

Every civilisation has come to an end. It's ok, just pray to a new god, my past life friends. Ignorance is widespread and our leaders play dead again. Are you playing a game of life you create to pretend? Did 2 atoms collide from nothingness a new god sent? We dropped atomic bombs to marvel at our own experiments.

Creation theories are still flawed in this, the advanced technological era of man. Religious disciples argue what science thinks it now understands. God created the world with his own hands? Science tries to explain the theory of the Big Bang. They both have some truth but still hide the master plan. That god is an alien (of which there are many) and we are the ants that rebrand his toy train. To remind ourselves when we re-board at the next station that things are similar but with a new name.

Possessions only make our lives more or less comfortable. We invent, produce and buy to make others more profitable. Is a man weighted in gold more of a human than a man floating on cardboard? Is a able child loved more or less than one that's disabled? Are we not all taught emotions and that love is unconditional? Are we on the cusp of this civilisations demise that's now become irreversible?

We cannot change our mortal past. What's been and done is here to last. We can stop to think that we're moving too fast. And try to give honest and truthful answers when our children ask.... "Why was this cardboard train once made out of fools gold and stained glass?"
