I gotta get outta this place
Ive had enough of this rat race
Your brown noses are two faced
Chasing tails and weaving hate
You've backed me up into a tight space
Hey you, lend me your ears
Let me tell you someone else's fears
Maybe they'll be the same as mine, hers, yours or his?
I heard the cries from my neighbours kids
They said they've been abused for too many years
The father's away and the mum's drunk in tears
Hey you, lend me your eyes
Let me see where your ignorance lies
So I know what it's like to turn a blind eye
To all that you know but still deny
It doesn't really come as any surprise
That you don't understand what's wrong from right
Hey you, Mr policeman
I'd like to report a serious crime
No I'm not the victim this time
It's your own kids future on the line
You're caught up in too much red tape again
Now your family is broken and they're asking me who to blame
Hey you, Mr politician
You're lost in your own constitution
The community is broken and in confusion
Because you don't understand the population
Yet you ask us to vote but we're still left in frustration
A teenager can't get a good job
He's stuck on a merry-go-round the government forgot
A former policeman applies but his c.v. got lost
He takes his son to the job centre where they both get robbed
He says he'll make a call to the man at the top
