There was a perversion in dreams As empty, hollow and shallow as it seems You just run right up to me But this isn't your reality
The ghost crowd chatter in the distance They're seeking chaos and confusion Familiar faces with strangers eyes Exchanging masks and swapping lies
I heard the call of the mourning bird Trapped in decision and feeling hurt Something has to give in a crowded space Fear comes first then heartbeats race
A virgin couple made "love" in the coliseum Vultures clapped to the pace and rhythm Our ruler was homosexual and didn't like what he was witnessing Thumbs down for some blood sport and killing
A generals son was in love with the enemies daughter But her heart belonged to a friendly young pauper A new war was declared in the halls of the religious The gods have no place for the damned heartless
The jewels of a nation hide well in caves Forgotten ancient scriptures sealed inside a vase 2 thousand years to cheat and misbehave Decipher the language written by slaves
The perceptions of freedom are clouded in treason You cannot be truly free when you have no reasons A dead paedophile opens the gates to an organisation that seething "It wasn't me, I didn't see him"
Is this the battle cry of the guilty? Innocence from ignorance comes so sweetly Everybody has a price if your content and wealthy But a pauper feels no god damn empathy
"Off with their heads at the execution at dawn" Everybody gather around the mother who mourns Tell her something comforting about her 1st born Like: "It's ok, heaven welcomes the wealthiest pawns" When really you want to say: "I hope he suffers in the hell of horns"
