Love Left

I watch you now from afar
Like a guardian shining star
Somewhere in Orion's Belt
Watching and waiting until you need help

Sometimes your eyes looks up
Smiling and beaming with love
Often they are fixed on the ground
Distant lonely tears fall down

I see you walking in the moonlight
In the shadows and out of sight
I summon up all of my strength
Sending you energy that's heaven sent

I sometimes wonder why with a sigh
You turn your back on the sun and run
Far away from your self as you can go
When all you need to know is deep within your soul

One day you will stop and see
Finding your answers in you not me
Until then I will shine brightly on your path
For when you find the crossroads and ask
"love left or depression right,
Do I continue on or turn back into the night?"
Then I shall know that you know
You are ready to make your own way home
finding a true love that's sent from above
And live your life in the light of your own inner love.
