I just brought my lunch but now feel sick It wasn't my thought - I couldn't help it Sandwiched between me and a bus It just walked out and I wasn't in a rush
Bloody stupid rat flying vermin thing Maybe something was wrong with its wings Cos it could see me in my van coming But didn't fly away it just kept on walking
Now my lunch will go to waste I can't eat from the worry on my face Stupid little thing is dead and road kill Now I got to clean its claret off the wheels
I slammed me brakes on but still felt a crunch Ffs I was really looking forward to my lunch But I'm not hungry now and I feel ill and queasy Killing a poor defenceless little pigeon really effects me
