We live in a world where everything is mass produced then thrown away Evolving technology in a futuristic world some may say Should this really be how we are remembered someday? We are the futures history they will look back at and ask, "why did they stray?"
Plastic society developed by transparent kings Packaged waste covers manmade things Left to rot in land filled suffering Chopped trees weep for mdf wrapped furnishings
Throw away clothes at jumble sale's in vogue Fashion designer's sexuality exposed Catwalk queen living an airbrushed dream Overt Mi5 agent spies on her management team
Throw a poor dog a tempting bone Wrapped up in a cardboard council home Government lends him a tax free loan So he can buy some shares to call it his own
Throw away food genetically abused Modified meat in a tin can preserved Passed sell by date to feed the african herd Recycled packaging used to build a hearse
Throw away love with a quickie divorce Prenuptial agreement sealed with a curse He's got greed while the she's got a new purpose Both can't agree that sometimes love hurts
Throw away future with no remorse Our kids kids will argue who's got it worse Us in the here and now with a world they hurt Or our ancestors who never cared when they threw away the Earth?
