One child cried itself to sleep at night Another child heard but stayed out of sight She cried and cried but never said a word As the other one hid from the sounds he heard
At breakfast the atmosphere was strange As his was caviar and hers was grains She looked over at him with her beautiful smile But he just ignored her as he ate in denial
Now one went to school and was educated with class While the other child liked sports but often came last And one began to complain and moan too much While the other was happy to just take part
Through their teens they would often meet While one was on t.v. and the other in magazines Yet they never did exchange any words As one felt at ease while the other thought it absurd
Now into their adulthood they did grow One went east while the other stayed at home Then one day they did finally speak When he was behind bars for some expensive deceit
He finally found something interesting to say When she came to visit him on the fourth of May In this a prison fear fuelled room She tearfully said, "I wish I had taken better care of us two" He replied, "My poor sister, I wish I could be identical to you"
