You just sit there all day,
Looking cute, cuddly, happy
But, My old teddy bear,
Only we know where we've been
What we've done
And what we've seen
From mountain ranges to swamps
From race tracks to skyscrapers
From my school to my room
Only we know where we've been,
How we've loved,
And how we've lost,
All the while,
Our love for each other growing stronger,
With every adventure had,
And every companion gained,
Every day seemed brighter,
With you, my friend there beside me.
Remember the monsters,
The ghosts,
And the ghouls?
Or the earthquakes,
The jungles
Or all the new worlds?
Well I still do,
Because,
Even though I am older,
You have not aged a day,
You still have those brown eyes,
The ragged, messy fur,
And 'LOVE ME' on your feet,
And love you I did,
With all my heart,
Every day,
And everywhere,
And that is why I will love you always,
No matter how old I am,
Or where I am,
I will always remember the adventures we had together when I was young.
