saying goodbye to the years gone by spent in the same place as a whole group we taste
getting farewell notes, weeping inside, the past is the past so getting notes from the ones that filled me with hope friends I've liked whether we were at peace or in a fight
I'm in the frame of mind where I want to do everything right don't want no regrets look back upon my actions and think of the right steps
this is my goodbye to old friends and new to ones I've loved and cherished and the other I out grew I want to thank you all for helping me stand tall you've given me confidence so this is all new
I thank you all for staying by my side, whether we ended good terms or bad I don't want you to be sad I wish you all well in life and hope it comes with a surprise
