quick the darkness is dawning, grab the light to fight back the pitch blackness,
flick
the light turns on, expectations high for the darkness to crawl away,
damnit
the dark is still here why didn't it work? i just want to be safe again
flick
the light turns off, i start panicking immediately,
blink
my eyes are growing tired the darkness is calling
blink
my eyelids are falling getting heavy at every flutter,
blink
giving into the darkness its power has a hold of me

the darkness has won again
