unseen movies

we always said we'd try to watch a film,
all the way through,
but this aim was surreal,

just going back,
all those unfinished sat,
I've worn more hats than watched a full movie with you,

Maybe if we had kept it clean,
watched them all straight through,
we could of had a clue,
as to what we were meant to do,

If we'd of just watched them,
maybe we wouldn't of had the problems,
still been together from this point forever,

too late for that,
this performance deserves a clap,
what a show we put on,
for our families to hold onto,

whilst deep down,
we we're acting like clowns,
I wish things didn't work out,
the way these cards have been dealt,
then maybe you'd still love me,
