There once was a lonely cat. It was coated with fine, ginger fur. This cat was called Opuss. But it was no ordinary cat, no way. It had a magical gift of telling stories! A talking cat is nothing to be surprised about. Almost anything can talk. But nobody yet knows Opuss. Her talent is undiscovered. Opuss lives in an alley. Her house is a garbage can.
"I shall earn food," Opuss thought. "I shall tell my stories to humans, and they will take care of me!"
At that very moment, Hannah, also known as @tattyteddy, came out from the toyshop.
"Ooh, look at this little cat!" Hannah squealed.
Heather, AKA @HeatherAnne, and Sienna AKA @sjw, came rushing out of the clothes mall when they heard the noise.
"Aww," Heather cooed. "Isn't it a dear?" Sienna asked, stroking the fur. But then Heather saw something else she loved more than cats.
"Bunny!!!" Heather shrieked, and started chasing a fluffy rabbit. Lee, AKA @leelee101, rolled his eyes.
"Girls..." he muttered.
Sienna's quick ears heard him, and she spun around and glared at him.
"Umm... Heh, heh. I stand corrected," Lee said, trying to appear innocent. Nav and Maryam (AKA @starkid_fanfic and @LollipopSwirl) appeared from the DVD shop, chattering like anything.
Heather appeared, heartbroken.
"The bunny escaped," she said.
Lee caught Nav and Maryam with some gory horror movies in their hands.
"Your parents won't let you watch those," he said.
"Oh, come on!" Nav shouted.
"Lee," Maryam said. "We can handle this. Nav is coming over to my house at midnight and we're going to hide and eat popcorn!"
"Life's good..." Nav glanced at Sienna, who seemed to be ignoring Lee. In fact, she kept glaring at him.
When Nav asked what was wrong, Sienna scowled, flipped her perfect dark hair and ignored both boys. Maryam smiled evilly at Nav and then said, "I've got to go with Heather and Sienna. You guys are gtting a bit boring."
Hannah had long ago joined Heather.
Opuss saw the perfect chance.
"H-h-hello," Opuss said shyly. The whole gang looked at her in surprise.
"A Talking Cat?!"
