Arm winding.
Ball in hand.
Loosing grip.
Spiraling forward
twords the batter.

In the air
it soars to
home plate.
Bat in hand.
Batter ready.
Ball now near.
Bat in swing.
Ball and bat meet.
Leaving with a crack!

With the ball in air
the batter runs.
Sprinting up to first
with the ball still in play.
Off to second he goes
when the empire screams
"Home Run!"
And around the
bases he flies.

A happy grin on
his face.
The crowd cheers loudly.
The other team boos.
The game winning hit
was complete.
Leaving the batter
in high joyful spirits.
