"Good morning Gavin."
"Good morning Callie. How'd you sleep?" asked Gavin.
"Perfect in your arms!" I said kissing him.
"Come on. Lets go upstairs and see what we have for breakfast."
We walked upstairs hand in hand to find Gavin's mom sitting on the floor with a map and a compass.
"Are we headed in the right direction Mom?" asked Gavin.
"I think so honey. The question is how far out are we and how far north did we drift. I'm hoping we aren't outside of Canada because they won't let us into the country without a passport."
"Don't worry about if were going to dock in the United States or Canada. Focus on finding land and feeding your only son and his girlfriend."
"Very funny Gavin." said Susan. "There's gronola bars in the cooler with a couple warm water bottles. Use the water sparingly!"
"Okay Mom!" said Gavin.
We walked over to the cooler which was placed just inside the overhang.
"Strawberry or blueberry Callie?"
"Strawberry! That's my favorite!" I said.
"Good. Because I wanted the blueberry." said Gavin.
We sat on the edge of the deck with our feet dangling off the side. The water was calm and beautiful looking inviting for me to swim in.
"How much longer do you think we'll be out here?" I asked.
"Probably a couple more hours." replied Gavin. "I don't want to spend another night on this boat. Even though I enjoyed sleeping with you."
"Awww!" I said kissing him. "I hope your right. And I feel the same way. If only we could see those pesky little seagulls that roam the beaches. Then we'd know if were anywhere near land."
"I do too!" Gavin said. "Hey what's that green speck to your right?"
"Only a beach."
"Did you say a beach?" Gavin asked.
"Yes. Oh my gosh yes! Susan! Joe! Look land!"
"What are you screaming Callie?" asked Susan.
"Look through your binoculars over there." I said.
"Oh my gosh! Joe! Go twords your right! The kids have spotted land!!!"
"What do you mean? Well would you look at that. They did find land! Hold on everyone were going full speed twords that beach!" said Joe.
Forty five minutes later we were arriving in the dock and attatching our boat to a boey.
"This isn't our dock Mom." said Gavin.
"I know honey. I'm going to go find out where we are and figure out how much farther we have to go." said Susan.
"Okay."
"Why don't you two stretch out on the grass over there and enjoy being on solid ground." said Susan. "I'll be back in twenty minutes."
"Okay Mom. Come on Callie!" said Gavin grabbing my hand.
We sprinted over to the grass and I did a round off, backhandspring, back tuck and landed on my feet.
"Wow!" said Gavin. "I didn't know you could do that!"
"I take gymnaustics." I said.
"Well my girlfriend's got some mad skills!" said Gavin kissing me.
"Haha!" I laughed before colapsing on the ground in Gavin's arms. "I can't believe we found land!"
"I know! I can't either. The question is where are we though?"
"And your asking me?" I said.
"You know I was just saying that not seriously asking."
"I know." I said kissing him.
"I love you Callie!"
"I love you too Gavin!" and we kissed again.
"I hate to interupt you two love birds." said Susan. "But were in Nova Scotia."
