I finally found the one place, I can truly call my home,
I found it at fifteen, now I'm nearly grown.
He's got brown hair and a smile that could light up the whole town,
Whenever I'm around him, there's no reason for me to frown.
He's got little insecurities of which I'll try to mend,
Time with him slows down, it's time I love to spend.
Content to sit beside him, while he clasps my hand quite tight,
My stomach twisting up in knots, feels like I'm in flight.
My heart beats fast, at a stolen glance,
When his eyes meet mine, I'm in a trance.
He stole my heart, at first sight,
My world once dark, is now so bright.
So if I happen to get lost along the way,
Return me to his arms, and there I'll always stay.
