Amber Ruby

"Harry, are you ok?" I said as I opened his bedroom door, letting myself and Katy through the front door as it was open,
"Why were you off?" Katy asked, I was going to ask that, but not as 'blunt!'
I sat down at the edge of his bed minding that I don't sit on his feet,
"Well—err......I was—urm.... ill?" he explained, not very convincingly. I raised my eyebrows have him a stern look,
"really?"
"Err. No?" he said looking guilty and trying to avoid eye contact,
"Why weren't you in school then?" I asked him, being pretty much as blunt as Katy who had place herself on Harry's leather sofa,
"Just tell us why you weren't in, then we will go," she said, I realised she isn't very patient,
"or I will go." she added on muttering,
"Because, from what happened a few weeks ago. I feel awful, I shouldn't have let Luke sit there knowing you were underneath it; I heard you yelp and then everything was silent, it was like I was the only person alive of Earth. It was terrible," he said, I still didn't understand why he wasn't in school, "and the reason why I wasn't in school," he continued,"was because I thought you were dead, so if I went to school I would either find out: you were dead, or find out you were alive. I just couldn't face that pain if you were.....de—"
"Dead." Katy said, raising to her feet and pulling a face at Harry's lame explanation,"Right. Im gonna go-as I said I would! Oh and 'btw' I told Amber everything that went between us....and by everything, I mean it."
and on that note, she left closing the doors behind us.
"I missed you at school," I said, forgiving him for 'skiving'
"I will always miss you from whatever period of time we aren't together," he replied giving me a cheeky wink, I pushed him back further onto his bed. He got a weird idea, that I wasnt ready for, he started kissing me hard and he placed his hand on my hip.
Mortified, I leapt up,"I–I have to go." I stammered and exited his apartment,
"Amber! I love you!" he shouted after me, but I was to far to turn back. and even if I wasn't to far, I still wouldn't.
