Winter had set deep into Leeanne's bones. The harsh winds knotted her hair, yet still still oozed with grace. Her boney snow-white hands held up against Josh's front door and knocked it a few times. Josh opened the door with a smile. He grabbed her waist and pulled her ice cold body against his warm radiating skin. They embraced and locked in a small kiss.
The stars were bright and the sky, clear as a summers evening. Josh's hand lightly dragged Leeanne's to the back garden. " close your eyes " he said. He held her around her skinny figure and walked to the open area. He whispered " open ". The garden was filled with lights. Trees covered in what seemed like fireflies turning all different colours . A roaring fire pit and surrounding it was a wooden bench. Rose petals scattered the tiled garden. It was like a dream. " Its beautiful ". " Just like you ".
Leeanne laid in Josh's arms, staring into the fires flames. Listening to every crackle that it made echoing the garden. The fire gave a warm glow and lit up Josh's face. " I have something to ask you." Leeanne looked up. Puzzled slightly- but completely dazed. " I want to ask you... If you will marry me? " Leeanne pulled away. Her face saddened. Tears filled her eyes. " Marry me? " Josh held his arms out to embrace her. She fell into his arms, crying softly. Then a soft whisper, " of course I'll marry you ".
