"Can we talk?" She said walking into the shop where he worked. He said hello and gave her a half armed hug. He hugged better with alcohol in his blood.
"About what?" He questioned her.
"The other night at Louis's" she stood there in silence moving back behind the counter.
"Oh sure"
"What do you remember?" her eyes stuck on his and his green eyes wandered around the room.
"Everything" she tapped her foot hoping that wasn't true.
"Oh"
"You?"
"Most of it" She thought back to just going for it and kissing him.
"You kissed me a few times " his forehead wrinkled as he spoke.
"I did" she admitted coyly
"Why?" it was almost as if he was mad about their lip encounter. But the forehead wrinkles disappeared and she knew he wasn't angry.
"Because I wanted to" she turned away and could feel her cheeks blushing.
"Okay"
"You held my hand and slept next to me why?" He had done all of that.
"Because I was drunk" he was making up excuses.
"No" I called him out on lying.
"Okay I like you" he softly said.
"Me too, too bad we cant so anything about it" I sighed along with the sad words
"Yeah. It is." he ended the conversation with. She hugged him and said goodbye and that was the end of the two of them. She had again fucked up a friendship.
