Take a deep breath, Its over now, For you anyway, Others will fight on, But you did your part, You wont be remembered, Not as an individual, You will be known as Soldier, A man who gave it all for the cause, You did much more than just die, You spent your whole life fighting, You did everything you could have done, Yet to the generals, You were a meaningless pawn, A distraction, To let their queen be taken, You were meant to die, You dedicated your life, And they through you aside, And you will not be remembered.
Interpret this as you will, this was not aimed at any war . It is fiction. I was in a depressed kinda mood.
