Banging hard on the door of the upstairs flat, Ben blinked the sleep out of his eyes. They were so noisy, that in the last two weeks, he had around four hours sleep. Every night, it sounded like they were watching a television programme in a different language, with the television volume on full. Finally after working up the courage, he had stormed upstairs, and was finally ready to confront his demons.

A second passed after his knock, and the door slowly and noisily creeped open.

The room behind the door was pitch black, and a few shadowy figures moved about at the back of the room. A scraping of a lighter rang out, and a small, but blindingly bright flame filled the room, illuminating five bodies, four at the back, and one sat in an old wooden rocking chair.

Ben started to back out of the room, but a dull thud greeted him as his back bumped against the heavy wooden door in its frame. There was no escaping, the door was locked.

Voice breaking, Ben whimpered "excuse me... I was just wondering if you could turn your television down a little" Silence greeted his remark, but Bens eyes were beginning to adjust to the light, and he could just about make out a disfigured face behind the lit lighter. The creature on the chair stood, and started to limp his way towards the door, where Ben stood frozen to the spot, unable to breath, as his heart pounded away in his chest.

The limping man opened his mouth, and a green vapour started to pour out, engulfing Ben, and filling his lungs. He felt his legs go weak, and everything go bright, as he collapsed onto the carpeted floor.....
