Chapter 22: The Mother's Bad Dream

The mother started to dream, she could see a little village that had been burnt down. She could see that it was Lamina. There were thousands of horsemen riding around searching for something. They were shouting, "Find them! Find them!"
Then under a pile of burnt wood crawled out two young children, they were panicking looking both ways before they hurried down the dusty path. At first the children were blurry. Rachael couldn't tell who they were but then lightning struck from the dark gloomy clouds that were hovering above the misty sky.
The mother could see that it was Jasmine and Arthur treading carefully as they made their way towards the exit.

One of the horsemen spotted the children and charged at them from behind. The rider held out a pike ready to kill the children, as the rider got closer a young boy with dark brown hair and light brown eyes stepped in front of the horse, while reaching out to pick up his favourite teddy bear that was in the middle of the dusty path. When the little boy turned the horseman still charged down the dusty path bringing the pike across in front of him. The little boy just froze in place and the pike speared through the boy's body. When the horseman yanked the pike out, the boy collapsed to the powered ground.
Jasmine and Arthur turned around sharply and saw the rider galloping towards them; they quickly turned to find that they were surrounded by ten more.
Jasmine shouted out loud, "Mother where are you!"
The mother's fore head began to sweat thinking about what would happen, if only she was there to help them. The horseman charged down pointing the pike at the lonely children.
The horseman said, "You have something that belongs to the Dark Demon now hand over the wand or die."
Jasmine looked confused didn't know what he was on about, so the horseman driven the pike through her stomach killing the young girl.
Rachael woke with a startle feeling very sticky and horrid. She placed her hands against her face wiping the sweat away. She picked herself up from the disgusting floor and walked over towards the window to see if anyone was on their way, but still not a single person came.
Soon the wooden door opened up, it was the Dark Demon, breathing heavily as usual, making his way towards the dragon. The dragon began to whimper and then tried to release its self from the chains once again by pulling and tugging trying so hard to force the chain off the steel block that was screwed into the rocky walls.
The Dark Demon pointed the Excalibur at the frightened dragon.
A loud sound came ringing through the dragons ears, the dragon began to stamp and shake trying not to be controlled but then it's eyes turned deep red not a single pupil was in its eyes.
The Demon swung open the gate then unravelled the heavy chains that were around the dragon's mouth. The dragon began to act different by holding its head down so that the Demon could stroke him and allowing the Demon to mount him. The little goblin hurried over towards a long leaver, the goblin heaved three times until it started to budge. The metal drawbridge lowered towards the ground. The dragon took a step back then rushed towards the open drawbridge and took off into the atmosphere.
The mother placed her head down in shame.
"Come back dragon, you need to snap out of it before you do anymore damage!"
It was too late; the dragon had flown above the dark gloomy clouds out of sight.
Rachael asked out, "the dragon never gets to decide if to go or not. If there are more of these creatures, then what would happen if the Demon captures them all?"
The rat poked out from the hole, "Well like I said, the world would be destroyed. The Demon had been looking for ten years and still hasn't found the other Protection Forces's, if the Demon finds them all then the Demon would be unstoppable because we have no summoner who could put an end to this."

The Dark Demon is now flying around Pandora on Draco, searching for the other Protection Forces. It's a race against time.
